Can I rent a car from RentUFS to drive for Uber?
Yes. All RentUFS vehicles are BIT/DOT inspection-ready and meet all Uber vehicle requirements. You can activate your rental on the Uber platform the same day you pick up the vehicle. Bring your valid driver's license, active Uber approval, and a payment method.
I'm a new rideshare driver can I still rent from RentUFS?
Absolutely. You do not need prior rental history to rent from RentUFS. You need a valid US driver's license, active platform approval from Uber or Lyft, and to be 21 or older. We work with new drivers regularly.
Can I rent a car just for personal use not rideshare?
Yes. RentUFS offers rentals for any personal use commuting, weekend road trips, errands, visiting family, or exploring the NYC area. The same well-maintained, fully insured vehicles are available whether you're driving for a platform or for yourself. Same rates, same service.
Who can rent a vehicle from RentUFS?
Any licensed driver aged 21 or older with a valid US driver's license can rent from RentUFS. Rideshare drivers must show active platform approval from Uber or Lyft. Personal renters need only a valid license and payment method. No prior rental history required.
